⏭️ Your Shortcut to Choosing a Disney Resort

Weekly Newsletter

Hey Reader!

One of the first and biggest decisions when planning a Disney trip is: where to stay.

Disney has more than 25 resorts, ranging from budget-friendly Value Resorts to luxurious Deluxe Resorts. And while the themes are fun and the pools are amazing, if you’re traveling with someone who has accessibility needs, there are a few extra things to consider:

✨ Is the room type accessible — roll-in shower, tub, or hearing accessible?
✨ How far is it from the bus stop or Skyliner station (after a long park day, this matters!)?
✨ Does the resort have multiple bus stops (which can affect how quickly you get to the parks)?
✨ Are dining options close by, or will you need to trek across the resort?

I’ve experienced this first-hand while traveling with my sister, who uses a wheelchair. We once ended up in a room way at the back of a resort, and let me tell you — that “short walk” back from the bus stop at midnight felt very long!

That’s why I put together something to make this easier:

My Accessible Guide to Walt Disney World Resorts takes the guesswork out with clear breakdowns of every Disney resort and its accessibility features.
